The Tiny Planet crew is VERY excited to be bringing Adam Crossley to the DC area for the next Tiny Planet concert.
Toronto-based Adam Crossley is an acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer. With comparisons to Coldplay, Sting and Ryan Adams, Crossley’s melodic voice & thoughtful lyrics are gaining recognition and anticipation has built for the release of his first solo record, Anvil of the Heart. His song, Beautiful World, is currently #14 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary charts and still rising.
Please join us for our monthly evening of spiritual upliftment through the arts. Charming vocals, rhythmic sensations, and soothing melodies born from a blend of Classical Guitar and Violin, African Djembe, and breathtaking harmonies bring to life a unique kind of music to inspire and uplift. Ali Youssefi puts together a show to celebrate human nobility and the value of unity in diversity. The music he will be performing is either directly from or inspired by the Baha’i sacred writings.

Andy performs one of his crowd favorites ‘Numbers’ at DC’s Tiny Planet Studio in May 2009. He makes an insightful and humorous introduction to the song which is not to be missed. Musically he also shows off some mean beatboxing – complete with bass line and trumpet.

Another video from the June concert at Tiny Planet (aka wedding of K&C). This is a subtle and driving version of the prayer that begins…’O God Guide Me’. We like the beats, the harmonies and the smooth piano. We hope you will like them too. As always – watch for Devon’s forthcoming album – and if you see him in public make sure you bug him about it. We are so excited to share this with you! At the last Tiny Planet we had an electric performance from Devon Gundry, Kelly Snook and Caeli Lohr of a new song that is yet to be released. We have checked with the artists and they have authorized us to post this video. So enjoy the world premiere of ‘Refresh and Gladden’ based on a prayer from Baha’u'llah.
What can we say. It was off the hook with a crazy surprise ending (well not really a surprise). Tiny Planet originator and star Kelly married the love of her life Caeli last night. We hope to have video highlights and pictures up soon.
